Working at PALS is more than ‘just babysitting’; it’s an opportunity to be a part of shaping the future as well as growing as an individual. As much as the kids learn from us, I learn just as much from them. I love that everyday holds a something new! And although some days bring more challenges, we as staff, students, and parents are able to work together to overcome them. Over time I have had the privilege of watching each child’s personality become more individualized. I love that every morning I am greeted by many happy smiles and good mornings. Even though years down the road, many of the kids may not remember me, I will remember them and the impact they have had on me.

Job duties will include:
Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
Communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Experience is not required; our primary objective is to hire individuals that fit well with our team, love what they do, and share our Core Values and vision of providing the highest quality child care available.
I get to work with the age group I feel most comfortable with (infants), as well as planning all their crafts/activities for the month. The staff is super welcoming and friendly! There are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and advance my career.
